Oh, Sleeper's "Stand Your Ground," a full-fledged and immersive game for iPhone and iPod Touch is available now in the App Store! The release marks a new foray into the fusion of music and gaming with a side-scrolling arcade-style game based on the storyline of the band's latest album, "Children of Fire." As players fight through multiple levels of enemy forces, summoning allies and collecting power-ups, they'll be treated to a unique soundtrack - "retro" 8-bit versions of the band's songs.

"Stand Your Ground" is a fully realized and vast gaming experience that will appeal just as much to existing Oh, Sleeper fans as it will with gamers not yet familiar with their music. Packed with a rich story and multiple game mode, "Stand Your Ground" will provide re-playability even for those that have conquered the main game itself. Complete with a deep storyline and a rich cast of characters, "Stand Your Ground" will wow fans of games like Swords and Soldiers, Plants vs Zombies, Patapon, and even Golden Axe.

"We are so pumped to release this project to the masses," explains frontman Micah Kinard. "This adventure allows the gamer to step into the boots of a warrior, pick up his axe, and traverse through the storyline of our latest album, Children of Fire. Oh, Sleeper will be releasing "Stand Your Ground," a full-fledged and immersive game for iPhone and iPod Touch, coming to the App Store March 20th.

The side-scrolling arcade-style game focuses on the character of Gage Ryan, a warrior dispatched to lead an army against the forces of savage darkness in a barren post-apocalyptic Earth. Players will fight through multiple levels of challenging enemy forces and strongholds, earning resources along the way which can be used to summon allies and more. And what game would be complete without power ups? "Stand Your Ground" has plenty that can be used to obliterate all the enemies on the screen. Complete with a deep storyline and a rich cast of characters, "Stand Your Ground" will appeal to fans of games like Swords and Soldiers, Plants vs Zombies, Patapon, and even Golden Axe.

Oh, Sleeper's new album "Children Of Fire," will be available at digital outlets everywhere this Tuesday, September 6th and in stores on September 27th. If you love to play the guitar, we're giving you the opportunity to perform the song "Children Of Fire" and win a Jackson "Warrior" guitar signed by the band.

To enter, make a video of yourself performing "Children Of Fire" and post it as a video response to the "Children of Fire" Guitar Tablature Contest video on YouTube. The person with the most creative video and best performance of the song wins. Download the tabs here and get practicing! 
The band will be watching each video and choosing a winner the week of September 27th.
